We wanted to bring your attention to an important security vulnerability, CVE-2025-2783, affecting certain Google products including the Google Chrome browser as well as the Microsoft Edge browser (which uses the Chrome framework). In simple terms, this flaw could potentially allow hackers to take control of your system through a weakness in Google’s software.
While Google is actively working on a fix, it’s important to take preventive steps to protect your systems. Here’s what we recommend:
Update Your Google Software and Perform Microsoft updates: Ensure all Google software (Chrome, Android, etc.) and Windows is up-to-date with the latest patches as they come available over the next 10 days.
Make sure your Antivirus/Endpoint Protection software is up to date: Antivirus providers are currently adding these exploits to their list of virus definitions in order to better protect your system and remove the threats.
Be extra conscious of phishing and scamming emails: These emails may contain links and documents that can trigger and execute code that would take advantage of this exploit and potentially compromise your system.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as needed. If you need any assistance with applying these measures, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
