Use Different Passwords for Different Accounts!

It may be tempting to use the same password across multiple sites, but this increases your risk if one account is compromised.
While password managers can be used to generate and store unique, complex passwords for each account, there is some risk in putting all your passwords in one place. However, this is much more secure than using excel or text files saved to your computer with included passwords.
Pro Tip: If you struggle with using multiple passwords, at the very least, you should set a different password for your email accounts than you do for anything else. This prevents handing over your email login info when registering with new sites. If a bad actor can gain access to your email, there is a good chance they can reset the passwords for your other logins as well.
